A member login is required to access member-only areas of the AELERT website, including the Resource Library and Discussion Forum. Member Officers (individuals) currently employed in an AELERT member agency can obtain individual access to the members’ areas of the website by completing the Member Officer Registration form. The number of individual logins per member agency is unlimited.

Since 2003, AELERT has grown to a membership of over 3000 individual members and over 250 agencies. Membership spans all tiers of government across Australia and New Zealand and connects agencies and their regulators with universities, international governments, not for profits and other organisations.
With this increased membership and expansion across the broad sector of environmental regulation, AELERT has outgrown its original governance model. We are making significant changes to our governance, funding, and membership to modernise AELERT. These changes will deliver improved value to members, greater accountability, and provide a more sustainable funding base.
We have been transitioning through 2022 to the new model, which takes effect on 1 July 2022. All Agency and Affiliate Members have been, or will be contacted by our Leadership Team regarding the new model transition.
Your early commitment to AELERT for 22/23 will help us plan and deliver the services members told us were of most value to them.

Member Officers do not need to renew their membership, their Agency's renewal will see their membership updated.
