Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the 2018 AELERT Conference after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. All substitutions and cancellations must be made in writing to Conference Logistics. Cancellations received before 14 January 2018 will be refunded, less an administration fee of $99.
Cancellations after 14 January 2018 are not refundable. Exceptions are at the discretion of the Organising Committee. By submitting your registration you agree to the terms of the cancellation policy.
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. The organisers do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to insure.
A list of participants will be produced which includes individuals' details such as name, organisation, and state. This will be given to delegates upon registration. If you do not consent to your contact information being provided for this purpose, please tick the relevant privacy box on the registration form or notify Conference Logistics.
The conference registration information is correct at the time of publishing. However, the organisers reserve the right to change the information where necessary without notice.
Recommended dress for the conference is smart casual for all conference sessions and the social functions.
In the event of industrial disruptions, the conference and the organisers accept no responsibility.
All the function rooms at The University of Technology Sydney, are non-smoking.
All conference and function payments must be received prior to the conference.

Under Australia's universal visa system, all visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival, provided they meet health and character requirements; and permanent residents of Norfolk Island who may be granted a Permanent Resident of Norfolk Island visa on arrival). NB: These are the visa options available presently but the Department of Immigration and Border Protection reserves the right to change regulations.
